HomeShield Alliance™ Privacy Policy
Effective Date: November 6, 2025 Last Updated: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how HomeShield Alliance, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“HomeShield Alliance,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our website, training programs, videos, downloadable materials, children’s content, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service, available at https://homeshieldalliance.com/terms-of-service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1. Scope — Who We Serve
Our Services are intended for purchase and use by adults aged 18 and older. The information described in this Policy is collected from the parents, guardians, and other adults who purchase or access our Services — not from children. Our children’s content (including the Guardian Gabby character, coloring pages, and storybooks) is made available for use by children only under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and we do not collect personal information from children through that content. See Section 9 (Children’s Privacy).
2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide. We collect information you give us directly, such as your name, email address, billing and payment information, account login details, and any information you submit when you contact us, complete a form, or participate in the Services.
Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Full payment card numbers are collected and stored by that processor and are not collected or stored by us.
B. Information Collected Automatically. When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, and usage activity, including through cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Sections 4 and 5).
C. Information From Third Parties. We may receive information from payment processors, analytics providers, and advertising platforms, consistent with this Policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, operate, and improve the Services; process transactions and deliver purchased content; create and manage your account; communicate with you, including service-related and (where permitted) marketing messages; personalize and improve user experience; measure and improve our marketing; maintain the security of the Services and prevent fraud; and comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on our marketing and funnel pages to operate those pages, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and support advertising. Our course platform uses only cookies that are necessary to deliver the course you purchased, such as those that keep you logged in and enable secure playback. We do not use advertising or cross-site analytics cookies on the course platform.
On our funnel and website pages, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies through our cookie consent banner, provided by LeadConnector, which appears when you first visit. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies are always active because the pages cannot function without them, and disabling some cookies may affect how the pages function.
5. Advertising & Analytics
We use analytics and advertising tools provided by third parties, such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google, and similar advertising and analytics platforms we may use, on our marketing and funnel pages to understand how visitors use those pages, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and deliver advertising — including interest-based or “targeted” advertising — about our Services on other platforms. These tools may collect information about your interactions with our funnel and website pages, such as pages visited and actions taken.
These advertising and analytics tools operate only on our marketing and funnel pages. We do not use them on our course platform, which relies only on cookies necessary to deliver the course, and we do not permit them to operate on the pages that deliver our children’s content. You can opt out of targeted advertising as described in Section 7.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share personal information with:
Payment processors, to complete your transactions;
Hosting, technology, and other service providers who support the Services;
Analytics and advertising partners, as described in Section 5;
Professional advisors, and as required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect our rights, safety, and property; and
A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
A note about “sale” and “sharing” under state law. Some U.S. state privacy laws define a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information broadly to include the use of certain advertising and analytics cookies for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. To the extent our use of these tools is considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under applicable law, you may opt out as described in Section 7 and in the U.S. State Privacy Rights Addendum below.
7. Your Privacy Choices
Targeted advertising / opt-out of “sale” or “sharing.” You may opt out of targeted advertising and any “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information by declining non-essential (advertising) cookies through the cookie consent banner on our funnel and website pages, or by emailing [email protected].
Universal opt-out signals. We recognize and honor browser- or device-based universal opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device from which the signal is sent.
Marketing emails. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails. We may still send you service-related messages.
Cookies. See Section 4.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: confirm whether we process your personal information and access it; correct inaccuracies; request deletion; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, and certain profiling. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
How to submit a request. Email us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request and may decline requests we cannot verify or that are not permitted by law. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proper authorization.
Timing. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days, with an extension where permitted.
Appeals. If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing [email protected] with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. While we publish content designed to be enjoyed by children ages 3–7 (such as the Guardian Gabby character, coloring pages, and storybooks), that content is intended for use only under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and any purchase or account is made by an adult.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not require children to create accounts, submit personal information, or interact with us directly, and our children’s content is delivered through the purchasing adult’s account. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. We handle any children’s information consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable state law.
10. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
12. Third-Party Links & Services
The Services may contain links to, or rely on, third-party websites and services that we do not control, including payment processors and platforms. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
13. International Users
The Services are operated in, and information is processed in, the United States. The Services are intended only for U.S. residents and are not directed to individuals outside the United States.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice by email or by posting a notice on the website. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
